1) She's been in my room with the same kids since the beginning of January.
2) She signs these kids in and out on the clipboard which has their names, first and last.
3) She talks to these kids about their families trying to get to know them better. I know because I hear her.
4) She is not blind.
Given that information she asked if two little girls were sister. They most definitely are not. One is racially mixed with extremely curly hair, and tan skin. The other is pale as snow and blonde hair. She's met both kids parents at our Valentines day party... at least both sets of parents were there along with one little brother. One

Teacher assistant update

2/16/18 update because I need to keep track of this stuff in case anyone at work (management) ever asks what happens in my room and how did it get so bad/etc. basically I know they will try to blame me for my assistant fucking up something important eventually.
Valentines party went great! it took us an hour to pass out valentines. had the kids sit in a circle and each took a turn to pass out their cards to their friends. 19 kids and it took over an hour. it was great. My assistant teacher

My old assistant teacher went on maternity leave and she's not coming back. I don't blame her. My new assistant teacher is dumb as a basket of rocks. I have stories! 2/12/18
1) The kids are done with lunch and it is naptime. She needs to clean up the food mess from letting them throw popcorn EVERYWHERE, and lay down cots. Choices: lay down cots on top of popcorn and then sweep around them, or sweep up popcorn then lay down cots, or don't let the kids throw popcorn and lay down cots for naps. Answer: Don't let kids throw popcorn and if there is a mess anyway because kids are kids and messes happen clean them up before putting things on top of
